Cyprus is one of the world’s most idyllic holiday destinations and with over 330 annual days of sunshine, boasts one of the best climate records in the whole of the Mediterranean. It often remains delightfully warm (low 20 C) and settled throughout those periods when the rest of the area is experiencing changeable weather.

Nowadays Cyprus blends history with a modern and peaceful outlook with the historical remains from Greek and Roman times scattered amongst modern vibrant Mediterranean communities.

80% of the population speaks Greek and about 20% speaks Turkish. English is widely spoken in the more cosmopolitan areas but not in the countryside.
