The Location

Pissouri is a small traditional fishing village set on the slopes leading down to the beach. It lies in the sunny south of the island almost exactly equidistant between Limassol and Paphos.

The drive from Paphos airport takes about 25 minutes along the motorway or you can take quiet scenic country roads. Larnaca is further at approximately and hour away but still represents a good option for flying in.

Car hire which in Cyprus is not overly expensive is recommended to make the most of the villa and its excellent location. There are good facilities at both airports as well as in both central Paphos and Limassol.

The village itself is quiet and traditional during the day, but comes to life in the evening with the magnificent, not to be missed ‘Cyprus’ night and small hidden away tavernas. Outside the village centre there are plenty of facilities for dining, entertainment and recreation in the nearby towns, including Pissouri Bay which is well worth a visit in the evening.
